Just Curious...

Being the Marketing Maven and Ad Guru that I am, I'm curious....help me out on this one.

We had a huge discussion today about what was worse....junk mail in your mailbox

or spam in your inbox...

Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

spam is easier and cheaper to get rid off and doesn't kill trees. junk mail is worse

I don't ever want to recieve a piece of physical mail or an email that I didn't request.

Never.

Ever.

If I want something, I will research it and go out and find it. When I find what I want, I will hunt it down and buy it.

Trying to "make me aware of an opportunity" just pisses me off.

I will never, ever buy something from someone trying to sell me something.

Even if I have to pay more for it.

I hate sales people worse than physical pain. Worse than my ex-wives.

Do not try to sell me anything. Ever.

Everyone is wrong. Spam is worse because of the damage viruses can do to your computer.

The trees will be cut down for houses anyway. Trees are stupid anyway standing there all big an majestic. Who do those jerks think they are, anyway, the King of England?

On the environmental tip the junk mail, for sure. But I don't ever want to explain to the Email Gestapo here at work why I get emails offering pills that will make my junk longer and more satisfying to my woman. I don't know how I got on THAT mailing list or how it continues to jump our firewalls, but EEW.

I hate those more than junk mail or email spam.

From a marketing stand point, I believe SPAM is the worst thing in the face of the world for your brand.

Junk mail can at times be entertaining, read, used... but SPAM just annoys even if it is easy to delete, what is worse is that it is very easy to ignore.
